Morocco and Senegal will contest the Afcon 2025 final after contrasting semi-final victories. Senegal defeated Egypt 1-0 at Grand Stade de Tanger, with Sadio Mané scoring a decisive 78th-minute goal despite losing captain Kalidou Koulibaly to injury.

This marks the first time a local coach has guided Senegal to an Afcon final. Meanwhile, host nation Morocco edged Nigeria 4-2 on penalties after 120 goalless minutes in Rabat. Samuel Chukwueze and Bruno Onyemaechi missed crucial penalties for the Super Eagles.

Morocco now pursues their first AFCON title since 1976, while Nigeria faces Egypt for third place.
