French President Emmanuel Macron has announced Ghana as the inaugural beneficiary of France’s National Health Platform. The comprehensive digital framework is designed to establish secure, patient-centric health records, facilitate inter-professional messaging, and expand telemedicine infrastructure.

The announcement was made during a bilateral meeting in Paris with Ghanaian President John Dramani Mahama. The high-level engagement followed the One Health Summit in Lyon, where both leaders co-chaired deliberations on global health security.

The National Health Platform is expected to strengthen Ghana’s healthcare system and bolster ongoing sectoral reforms. President Mahama welcomed the initiative, expressing gratitude to the French government for the strategic partnership.
